Accessibility
Rocky Valley has an easy access from Hurghada and Marsa Alam. The transfer time from the airports is for both airports approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes drive. Rocky Valley staff will pick you up at the airport. The road to the dive camp is a good asphalted motorway. The camp lies The camp lies 10 km at north of Quseir and 7 km at the south of el Hamrawein. Between these villages there are no buildings.
Our house reef
Abu Sawatir (Rocky Bay) with a quietly going, sandy bottom, from 1 meter up to a depth of +40 meters. From the beach you easily walk into the sea without any obstacles on your way into the water. Our bay is a dive spot which is open for all levels. A perfect spot for your dive centre to teach your students courses on every level. On both sides of the bay there are fantastic coral reefs with splendid coloured partitions and lots of nice fish. The reefs stretch out for several kilometres, as well to the north as to the south. (Safaga - Marsa Alam). Diving here are shore dives .
The surrounding reefs
During your stay you have can choose to dive on 25-30 reefs. We will get there by minibus, pickup truck or jeep. The reefs generally have easy entries and exits. Because here are no boats anchoring, and that has not been done in the past, you will find here splendid and coloured healthy reefs!

Various activities
Scuba diving and snorkelling tours, guided or by yourself. We are glad to notify you that the coastline, both to the north and to the south, for kilometres, is a free area without any buildings on the beach. This gives you the opportunity to make a nice long undisturbed walk along the beach. Behind the camp there are mountains and the desert. Here you can walk, or rent a pickup truck or jeep and explore this extreme landscape. Approximately 7 kilometres behind the camp is an old mine, which still operates. 14 Kilometres south of the camp you will find Alabaster, phosphate and an old Bedouin village, known as Ghost City. On request it is possible to take an accompanied tour with a geologist. Horses and camel excursions are possible along the sea and in the desert. Also you can do a city tour to Quseir, independently or accompanied. Other excursion possibilities are trips to Luxor (valley of the Kings & the Queens) Aswan, shopping in Hurghada and even visit the pyramids in Cairo is possible.
